I'm an assistant professor in the UMBC economics department. In my spare time I work on a number of open source projects including tax models in the Policy Simulation Library (PSL), blackjack simulators, and MLB projection models. Previously, I worked as a research associate in the Open Source Policy Center within the American Enterprise Institute.
I earned my BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, and MA and PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia.
